Claudia Ovejero

As a woman who grew up in less economically developed countries, my experiences have led me to quickly became passionate about women, especially the women that were often at high risk yet continued to be the backbone of these societies, and equally. I am pursuing an honours degree in journalism to be able to tell stories that matter and to amplify women's stories and voices to inspire other women. Uplifting marginalized peoples and at-risk women is something incredibly important to me, especially as a feminist, and something I view as an essential step in the advancement of society.
